Jabalpur Institute of Health Sciences was started in the year 2004 with the motive to provide quality service to the society. Our aim is to provide world class health science education to benefit all the sections of the society .In present era, as we are continuously challenged to deliver excellent nursing education admits of this changing health care needs, we provide opportunity for every students to acquire this knowledge and skills that are essential and inevitable for performance in the society at large .Our aim is to prepare compassionate and considerate future nurses who shall deliver evidence based practice for effective implementation in nursing care.

Nurses are no longer confined in the four walls of a hospital taking curative measures; they are prepared to provide promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative care to the population during sick and well.

Our Institution’s aim to prepare nurse’s who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of self and others. Facilitate individual and groups in pursuit of health function in the hospital, community nursing services and conduct research studies in the area of nursing practices.  

Jabalpur institute of health sciences started in the year 2004 has achieved recognition within a span of 10 years as one of the top colleges in Jabalpur. The college is recognized by Indian nursing council, and is affiliated to the Madhya Pradesh medical science university Jabalpur and Madhya Pradesh nurses’ registration council Bhopal. We offer 4 years B. Sc. nursing degree course, 3 year GNM course, 2 years Master of Science M. Sc. (N) course , P.B.BSc (Nursing) 2 Years Course and Nurse Practitioner Critical Care (NPCC) of 2 years course. Jabalpur institute of health sciences has its own parental hospital named as Jabalpur hospital and research centre, we give a lot of practical skills to the students in various departments of hospital, college and community to enable them to be the best trained nurses in their profession.

The college has a top class infrastructure with excellent classrooms, laboratories, and very good experienced teacher. The college has modern and sophisticated equipments and a unique, vibrant rich library access to books and e-learning.
